Llanengan is a small
village 1¼mile s or 2km south west ofAbersoch inGwynedd , north-westWales .In its centre is the
parish church ofSt. Einion , one of the oldest churches in theLlŷn peninsula .The popular
seaside resort village ofAbersoch falls within theparish of Llanengan.The local
public house is called the Sun. There is also a telephone box.Lead was formerly obtained from a lead mine just outside the village.
