Comanche Independent School District is a public school district based in Comanche, Texas (USA).
Located in Comanche County, a very small portion of the district extends into Mills County.
In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]

High school
The High school's principal is Mr. Scott Carslie, who recently (2007-2008 school year) replaced Mr. Ronald "Coach" Clifton as the principal. The school recently dropped from a 3A to a 2A rating, between the 2007-2008 and the 2008-2009 school year.
