Karaağaç

:"For places in Azerbaijan, see Qaraağac."Karaagach ( _tr. Karaağaç) is a settlement in the Edirne Province of Turkey. It was a part of the defensive line Luleburgaz - Karaagach - Bunarhisar in the First Balkan War.

At the border to Greece, Karaağaç is located on the river Maritza and serves as the last train stop in Turkey to Europe. In 1890, a large train station was built in Karaağaç on the left bank the river. The Turkish State Railways (TCDD) constructed in 1971 a new train station at the opposite side abandoning the former one, which is now used as the administrative building of Trakya University.
