"The Love Album" is the eighth album and first cover album by Irish boy band Westlife and it was released on November 20 2006 worldwide. The songs on the album centers around the theme of "love". During their Face To Face Tour, they had performed The Dance on some tour venues and was later said that it will be included on the upcoming album and will be the first single off this album but was later changed to The Rose.

The first and only single released was "The Rose", originally by Bette Midler, and it debuted at #1 in the UK and Ireland. It marks as their 14th #1 single in UK tying with Cliff Richard holding the prestigious title as the third artist with most #1 singles in UK. The song "Total Eclipse of the Heart" was initially planned as the second single but its release was later scrapped. It gained airplay in the Philippines and peaked at the top 5 in a radio station. "All Out Of Love" (duet with Delta Goodrem) and "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You" were later released as radio promotional singles in The Philippines.

A two-disc Asian Deluxe Edition of The Love Album was released in Asia. March 19, 2007 in the Philippines.
