In October 2007, Lynch Ambulance responded to a desperate call for help in San Diego County. Wildfires were burning large areas and medical facilities were being evacuated in the affected region. Lynch Ambulance sent 2 BLS Ambulance Strike Teams, (11 units total with 2 Strike Team Leaders) to assist in evacuation operations.
