Benito Cereno ."Benito Cereno is the pen name for Jamie Groover. He is a writer of
comic book s. To date, his only full-length work is 2004's "Tales From the Bully Pulpit ", but he is also known for his backup strips in early issues ofRobert Kirkman 's comic book "Invincible". These backups were illustrated byNate Bellegarde , and included such characters as the Deep-Fried Monkey, Deep-Fried Pirate, and pseudo-autobiographical versions of the duo themselves.Along with Bellegarde, Benito Cereno created the supernatural investigator
