- Timeline
A timeline is a graphical representation of a
chronological sequence of events, also referred to as achronology . It can also mean aschedule of activities, such as atimetable .Overview
Timelines can be made by era, century, year, month, week, day and even an hour. Timelines can be made for one person, group, city, or even country. In a timeline, there are dots which represent the most important events in the life. The timelines can be drawn or digital-made. Their length can vary. Timelines can be researched too. By researching a timeline, the researcher can learn the major events happened inside the time.
It can be defined as a linear representation of the progress of an animation from the first to the last frame or a chronological outline of certain historical events and experiences. Timeline does not include the all of the events but only the events that will change at least one thing concrete or abstract. Timelines also can exclude few years for the pattern.
For example, if a timeline has a pattern of 40 years, it will not show the tenth, twenieth, thirtieth, and fiftieth. But it will show only their lines in the timeline.
