Jean Scott is a gambling author who is best known for her 1998 book "The Frugal Gambler". The book features gambling advice for novice gamblers including money management strategies and how to procure the best casino comps and discounts.

Scott published a sequel to her first book entitled "More Frugal Gambling" in 2003. Her most recent books are "The Frugal Video Poker Scouting Guide", "Frugal Video Poker", and "Tax Help for Gamblers". In addition to her writing credits, the author markets a video poker software program, "Frugal Video Poker". She has made frequent television appearances as a gambling authority, including many spots on The Travel Channel.
