Wolfgang Loitzl

Wolfgang "Wolfi" Loitzl (born January 13, 1980) is an Austrian ski jumper who has competed since 1997. His son Benjamin was born on January 12, 2005, his second child Nikolas was born on February 10, 2007. He is married to Marika since June 11 2006. He won five medals in the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with four golds (Team normal hill: 2001, 2005; Team large hill: 2005, 2007) and one silver (Team large hill: 2001). Loitzl also finished in the 6th in the individual normal hill at the 2005 championships.

He earned a bronze medal in the team event at the 2004 Ski-flying World Championships and finished 15th at those same championships. Loitzl has seven individual career victories from 1998 to 2003.
