Amanda Brunker

Amanda Brunker (born 1973 in Dublin, Ireland) is a former Miss Ireland winner and current journalist/columnist for the Irish "Sunday World" newspaper. After attending Mount Temple Comprehensive School she turned to modelling, entering and winning the Miss Ireland competition in 1991 when she was 17 years old. She has continued modelling, acted in the film "Head Rush" [IMDb. She lives in Dublin with her partner, Philip O'Loughlin, and their two sons. She published her first novel, entitled "Champagne Kisses" [Transworld. In late May 2008 she appeared on the Irish chat show, The Late Late Show to promote the then forthcoming novel.
