King's Norton and Northfield
- King's Norton and Northfield
Kings Norton and Northfield was a local government district in Worcestershire, England from 1894 to 1912.
It was created in 1894 as the rural district of Kings Norton, under the Local Government Act 1894, based on the Kings Norton rural sanitary district. It covered the parishes of Beoley, Kings Norton and Northfield. In 1898, the district became instead an urban district whilst keeping the same borders, and adopted the name 'Kings Norton and Northfield'.
According to the 1911 census the district had a population of 81,153, large enough to become a county borough. The district was abolished in 1911. Northfield and Kings Norton parishes were added to the county borough of Birmingham, and thus became associated with Warwickshire, whilst Beoley parish was incorporated into the Bromsgrove Rural District in Worcestershire.
