United Nations international E-road network . It is a north-south "reference road", running fromInverness ,Scotland south throughEngland andFrance toAlgeciras ,Spain . Like all other E-roads, the E15 is not signed in the
United Kingdom . It follows the following roads:
*A9,Inverness to Perth
*M90 and A90, Perth toEdinburgh
*A902 and A720 around Edinburgh
*A68 and A696, Edinburgh toNewcastle upon Tyne
*A1, Newcastle upon Tyne viaScotch Corner andDoncaster toLondon
*M25 north ofRiver Thames , A282 (Dartford Tunnel ), M25 south of Thames, passing London to the east
*M20 and A20, London toDover The E15 has a gap at the
English Channel between Dover andCalais ,France . There is aferry link between Dover and Calais. TheEurotunnel Shuttle (using theChannel Tunnel ) provides an alternative link via.Folkestone .France
