Dr. Walter F. Robinson School is a public
coeducation alprimary school located in the U.S. city of Bayonne,New Jersey , run by theBayonne Board of Education . It was originally opened in 1910 asBayonne High School , and changed to an elementary school in the late 1930s when the presenthigh school was completed. In 1977, it was renamed after a prominent history teacher who becameschool principal and Assistant Superintendent of Schools and authored a history of the city of Bayonne.In 2004/05, the school won an American Student Council Association Honor Student Council Excellence Award. As of 2005, the
school principal is Kevin J. Moran. Theschool colors are blue and yellow and theirmascot is theGriffin . Themotto is "The Royals Believe That's Why We Achieve".It has a diverse population of students, including
