James Patrick Green, (born 30 May 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American Roman Catholic archbishop and diplomat.

Religious life

Green studied for the priesthood and was ordained a priest on 15 May 1976. He was appointed Titular Archbishop of Altinum by Pope Benedict XVI on 17 August 2006 and that same day was appointed Apostolic Nuncio to South Africa and Namibia, and Apostolic Delegate to Botswana.
