Remotely Piloted Vehicle

Remotely Piloted Vehicle (RPV) is a term used by United States Department of Defense during the 70's and 80's to describe a robotic aircraft flown by a pilot located in a Ground Control Station. The Unmanned Aircraft was used for reconnaissance and artillery spotting.
