Galtellì is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 140 km northeast of Cagliari and about 25 km northeast of Nuoro. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,452 and an area of 56.8 km².All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.]

Galtellì borders the following municipalities: Dorgali, Irgoli, Loculi, Lula, Onifai, Orosei.Galtellì (in Garteddi Sardinian) is a commune of 2.452 inhabitants of the province of Nuoro.
