White Oak Middle School

White Oak Middle School is a middle school in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Classes are held for grades grades six through eight.

It was founded in 1962 as part of the Montgomery County Public School system as a junior high. It was renovated in 1993. Coinciding with a nationwide trend in the United States in the 1990s, White Oak switched to a block class schedule in 1995.Students who attend White Oak Middle school attend Springbrook, Paint Branch or Blake High schools as part of the northeast consortium. White Oak has a great band program thanks to Mr.Lucas. The Orcestra goes on many festivles including Hershey Park. They have won many medals, in all categories.
