Ellen Fiedler, née Neumann (born
26 November 1958 inDemmin ) is a German hurdler.She won the bronze medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in
Seoul , in a career best time of 53.63 seconds. This ranks her third among German 400 m hurdlers, only behindSabine Busch andCornelia Ullrich . At the 1983 World Championships she also won a gold medal in the 4 x 400 metres relay.
