The School of Applied Arts is a non-profit school founded in Denver, Colorado by Andre Martinez in 2002. The School of Applied Arts is the first non profit decorative painting school in the United States solely dedicated to teaching the craft of decorative painting. The school instructs approximately 200 professionals per year under the nations first Decorative painting Apprentice program. The school is pending certificatoin in the state of Colorado as well as national accreditation.The school teaches the Principles of Applied Arts curriculum under license from Faux Design Center Inc.

Programs of study

All of the schools programs are currently under the degree of decorative painting to include: faux marbling, Faux woodgraining, mural painting, trompe l'oeil, and plastering.
