Phocis ,Greece . Its 2001 population was Population 3,073 (2001). The seat of the municipality is inErateini . Its village was primarily known as Vitrinitsa. Its ancient city ofTolophon is located to the northeast where the municipal name is originated.ubdivisions

Tolofona is situated on a mountain slope. Farmlands are in the valley areas and much of the area are mountainous. The forests are in low lying areas as well as the mid-elevation, grasslands and barren land are in the higher parts. Its main industry area agriculture, businesses and tourism with some services.

Much of the houses were stone built until the 1960s. Electricity arrived in the same year. Vehicles arrived in the 1970s, the pavement of the main road and television arrived in the 1980s and computer and internet are rarely known in the beginning of the 21st century and up to date technology are not seen.
