Susan Hanson (born February 2, 1943 in Preston, Lancashire) is an English actress. She played the part of Diane Parker in the long-running British soap opera, "Crossroads" from 1966 to 1987. Hanson is the widow of musician Carl Wayne, with whom she has a son, Jack.

Susan was married for many years to singer Carl Wayne, and since leaving Crossroads had remained out of the limelight. Carl died of cancer in 2004, and after a couple of years Susan returned to British TV screens with a role as the mother of Todd Carty's character in an episode of Holby City. She is also to appear on ITV on June 30, 2007 in That's What I Call Television, alongside former colleagues Jane Rossington, Tony Adams (Adam Chance) and Paul Henry (Benny Hawkins).
