After starting his career at a small club NK Šmartno he moved to
NK Slovan in 2002, a club renown for good work with young players. In 2004 he left for his third club from Slovenian capitalLjubljana NK Svoboda , where he established himself as a first team player. His talent didn't go unnoticed and he subsequently joined the Slovenian first division clubNK Domžale in the summer of 2005. In the second part of the 2005/2006 season he found his way into the starting eleven and never looked back. In 2007 and 2008 he won back to back tittles with Domžale.In the summer of 2008 there was talk of him moving to the Italian
Serie A clubChievo Verona , but he stayed with Domžale to help the team in the qualifying round of theUEFA Champions League .International career
Kirm made his debut for the national side in August 2007 in a friendly game against
Montenegro inPodgorica . Since then, he has become one of the most important players of the team led byMatjaž Kek .Honours
