"Singer of Sad Songs" is a 1970 album by Waylon Jennings on RCA Records. It is his first produced by Lee Hazelwood.

Unlike most other RCA country albums, the album was recorded at their "Music Center Of The World" studios in Hollywood. Only the title track was recorded in Nashville. As a result, RCA Nashville was unwilling to promote the album.
