Brian T is an American entertainer/producer and filmmaker based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is known for his independently produced pop songs, "Show Me..." and "Please Don't Leave". He also acts, sings, dances, and writes original songs. Capitalizing on the emergence of the
boy band phenomenon and teen pop explosion in the 90s, he wrote and produced songs of a similar style to the music that was dominating the airwaves at the time. His 1999 song he wrote, "Show Me...", and a video for it he also produced himself, which was shot on location in New York City in the middle of Times Square, lead to ABC andMTV considering him for the reality TV show,Making the Band which chronicled the creation of the boy band,O-Town , byLou Pearlman , the creator of TheBackstreet Boys andNsync . Ultimately, Brian was not selected to be on the show and member of the group but continued to produce and perform his own original music as a solo artist. He has also appeared on the TV showsFamily Matters ,Can't Hurry Love ,Picket Fences , andParty of Five in nonspeaking roles. In 2002, he appeared on theESPN reality show,Beg, Borrow and Deal in support of his friend, Julian Bryce, who was one of the contestants. Brian has also written, produced, and directed the independent films "Dragzania" and "Night Terrors". Brian is an advocate of public access television and is currently trying to help save it as battles in Congress wage over its future and over corporate control. He has contributed original cable access programming over the years to cable access stations in Pittsburgh, New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.External links
