Tennis Ball Cricket

Tennis Ball Cricket

= Tennis ball cricket is a variant of cricket popular in the Indian subcontinent, and among South Asians living in the United States and Canada. In this game a harder version of tennis ball is used. The number of overs in the game varies from six to twenty-five. Considering that the ball is not as hard as the professional cricket ball, the use of protective gear like gloves, pads and helmets is optional. As the tennis ball cricket games are shorter versions when compared to the first-class matches or ODIs, they are especially suited to recreational weekend play. Where cricket pitches are not available, a part of baseball diamond is used as a pitch in most parts of USA and Canada. =
