USNS Paoli (T-AO-157)

The USNS Paoli (T-AO-157) was a type T2 tanker built at Sun Shipbuilding and Drydock Co. in Chester, PA. It was hull number 401 and USMC number 1734 and was completed in late 1944. The U.S. Navy took control of it in 1956, but it was struck from the register a year later.

In 1966, the ship was partially rebuilt into a liquid sulfur carrier and it was renamed the "Marine Floridian". It was sold for scrap in 1997 at which time it carried the name "Belofin Floridian".
