The numbers were about equal but the steadiness of the Prussianinfantry eventually wore down the Austrians, and they were forced to retreat, leaving behind them 18gun s and 12,000 prisoners. The killed and wounded numbered about 7,000 on each side and the Austrians made 1,000 prisoners. The Prussiancavalry delivered several desperate and unsuccessful charges, and were almost destroyed.References
