Darkwing Duck DVD releases

"Darkwing Duck" has been released on an official box set by Disney. So far, two volumes have been released in Region 1 as of August 7th 2007, with future volumes pending.

Unlike "DuckTales" and "Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers", the episodes are being released onto DVD in airing order. The sets do not contain any special features. Also, the pilot episode on the first set is the syndicated version, and does not include the restored scenes found on the VHS release.

Volume 1

The first set was released on August 29, 2006. It consists of twenty-seven episodes on three discs.

Volume 2

Volume 2 was released on August 7, 2007. It consists of twenty-seven episodes on three discs. Unlike the first volume, which contained the cut version of "Darkly Dawns The Duck", the episodes on Volume 2 in general appear to be uncut, unlike the ones aired on tv.
