Olympic medal record Women's athletics Competitor for Great Britain Silver 1948 London 100 metres Dorothy Grace Manley (later Hall, then Partlett[1]) (born 29 April 1927 is a British athlete who competed mainly in the 100 metres.
She competed for Great Britain in the 1948 Summer Olympics held in London, United Kingdom in the 100 metres where she won the Silver medal with a time of 12.2 seconds.
Now living in Woodford, Greater London, she teaches piano and holds annual concerts for her students.[citation needed] She has also appeared for interviews, on the BBC News and in newspaper articles, regarding her success in the 1948 London Olympics.[citation needed]
