General Biography
George Smith was an English footballer whom was born in Fleetwood, Lancashire in 1921 and who played in the inside forward position. He played for Manchester City F.C. between 1946 and 1951 making 166 appearances and scoring 75 goals.
Army & FA Representative XIs
During the Second World War he also played in Army and FA representative sides, and was badly injured by a gunshot wound whilst in South Africa.
