mountain in theHimalaya of easternNepal . The name comes from Tibetan and means "Three Snow Peaks", which refers to the triple summit of the mountain. The mountain is the main source of theKusum Khola which flows westward to merge into theDudh Khosi .The mountain is classified as a
trekking peak , but it is considered one of the most difficult to climb. Kusum Kangguru is one of the first "real" mountains that is seen when trekking fromJiri toMount Everest base camp.
