Ma Yuqin

Ma Yuqin

Ma Yuqin (born 11 September 1972) is a Chinese sprinter who specialized in the 400 metres. She currently holds the Asian record with 49.81 seconds, achieved on 11 September 1993 in Beijing. This was also the world leading time that year, only 0.01 second ahead of Jearl Miles of the USA.

Ma won gold medals at the 1993 Asian Championships and 1994 Asian Games.
