Alseno is a "comune" (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 120 km northwest of Bologna and about 25 km southeast of Piacenza. The municipality of Alseno contains the "frazioni" (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Castelnuovo Fogliani, Chiaravalle della Colomba, Cortina, and Lusurasco.
