The One 98.1 FM (Barbados)

The One 98.1 FM is a radio station owned and operated by the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation, Barbados' public broadcaster.

The One was launched in 1984 as Liberty FM. At the launch the station was mainly geared towards young people playing mainly popular music of the day. Liberty was the first CBC station on the FM dial.

It has since been rebranded as "98.1 The One" radio station in Barbados and currently despite its rebranding from Liberty, the station continues catering to a young demographic.
