Llian

Llian is one of the heroes in Ian Irvine's "The View from the Mirror" quartet.

He started off as a teller at the college of histories in Chanthed. He told a tale of the forbidding that had never been heard of before, and was made a master chronicler. He then got expelled from the university and sent to Thurkad, where on the way he met Karan and ended up playing a major role in the tale of the Mirror. He was accused of various things and was disliked by most of the party. He remembered the things that happened throughout the quartet, and made them into a tale. Karan eventually became pregnant with his child, and we are currently waiting on a sequel from Ian Irvine as to what happened after the books.

In the next set of books Llian is discredited by the scrutators, and his tale made forbidden. We are never told what the reason for this is.
