Northeast Georgia Regional Airport airport codes|WDR|KWDR|WDR, formerly Winder-Barrow Airport, is located three miles (5 km) east of the central business district of Winder, a city in Barrow County, Georgia, United States. This public-use facility is owned by the Barrow County Airport Authority.

As per the airport's web site, the name was changed to Northeast Georgia Regional Airport on December 20, 2005. The airport is home to The Flight School (a Cessna Pilot Center), a restaurant called the Spitfire Cafe and 148th medical company (air ambulance) of the Georgia Air National Guard.

Facilities and aircraft

Winder-Barrow Airport covers an area of 374 acres (151 ha) which contains two asphalt paved runways: 13/31 measures 5,500 x 100 ft (1,676 x 30 m) and 5/23 measures 3,610 x 100 ft (1,100 x 30 m).

For the 12-month period ending April 25, 2007, the airport had 28,400 aircraft operations, an average of 77 per day: 82% general aviation and 18% military. There are 122 aircraft based at this airport: 86% single-engine, 8% multi-engine, 4% military, 1% jet and helicopter.
