"Hell Yes" is a song by punk rock band Alkaline Trio, released as a single on January 22, 2007. It is the first single from their 2007 album "Remains".

The song originally appeared in 2001, as an additional track on the "Hell Yes EP", and later resurfaced on the Japanese and European releases of their 2001 album "From Here to Infirmary". The track, however, has not been widely available, as it was released under a relatively small record label. To this day it remains an integral part of their live set, and a favorite among fans, which would contribute to the rationale for its 2007 release.

There is much confusion amongst fans as to the subject of this particular song, many believing it to be simply another heartbreak song put on a dark backdrop. However, according to the band (as explained at several of their live shows upon the initial release of this song) it is actually about losing faith in God and turning to Satanism.

As stated in the "Remains" booklet, the song is about Anton LaVey, author of The Satanic Bible and founder of the Church of Satan. Both Matt Skiba and Derek Grant are members. Due to their membership, it is a common misconception among fans that they worship Satan; even though the organization is in fact based upon atheistic principles.
