Liliya Shobukhova ( _ru. Лилия Шобухова, born
13 November 1977 ) is aRussia n middle distance runner who specializes in the 3000 and5000 metres . She is a two-time national champion in the women's 5000 metres.In 2006 she won a silver medal at the World Indoor Championships before finishing second at the European Championships.
In the 2008 Russian Championships held in
Kazan on19 Jul 2008 , she set a new European 5000 m record of 14:23.75, to become the forth fastest ever over the distance.
