Kate Edmondson is a British television presenter from Portsmouth, England and older sister of former CBBC presenter Matt Edmondson.

In 2006, Kate was selected after a nationwide search [ [http://www.port.ac.uk/aboutus/newsandevents/news/title,56097,en.html University of Portsmouth website feature] ] to present "The Loaded Hour" [ [http://www.mtv.co.uk/node/7242/ Announcement of "The Loaded Hour" at mtv.co.uk] ] , sponsored by "Loaded magazine", on Freeview channel TMF and has since gone on to present "TMF Live" and "TMF Kicks", "Totally Boyband Live" on sister channel MTV, and "Q the Music" on Q/The Hits!

Formerly a radio presenter on Pure FM [ [http://purefm.com/profiles/dj/view/9 Pure FM DJ profile] ] , the student radio station at the University of Portsmouth, she is currently a Media student there, where both her parents are also lecturers.

Current career

Kate currently appears in the popular CBBC show Hider in the House alongside JK and Joel, and presents the "Teen 24" slot for BBC News 24.
