James Martin Frost or Frost is guitarist for welsh band The Automatic.

Musical career

Frost began playing guitar at a young age, and after introducing band mate Robin Hawkins into music and the bass guitar Forst and Hawkins along with friend Iwan Griffiths formed the band "White Rabbit", which later with the addition of Alex Pennie became The Automatic. Frost currently is one of the bands two guitarists after keyboardist Alex Pennie left the band in 2007, he and guitarist new Paul Mullen both take on the responsibilities of playing synthesizers and keyboards during live performances, Frost also provides backing vocals in all tracks in the first album Not Accepted Anywhere.

In 2006's NME "cool awards" Frost was voted number 20 in the list, beating at the time band-mate Alex Pennie. During the bands well known GMTV performance he accidentally injured a cameraman during the performance, in which himself and Pennie took to smashing their equipment.
