Nierembergia (pronounced /ˌnɪərɛmˈbɜrɡiə/)[1] (common name Cupflower) is a genus of plants in the Nightshade family. It is named after the Spanish Jesuit and mystic Juan Eusebio Nieremberg (1595-1658).
