Although they were 'peaceful' rulers of Redwall, they were quite often called upon to make plans for war when Redwall Abbey was under attack. Here is a table of all the Abbots and Abbesses of Redwall. The words in "Italics" mean that the Abbot or Abbess was either alive but not Abbot or Abbess of Redwall at that time or they became Abbot or Abbess at the end of that book.

Badger Lord or Lady is the ruler of Salamandastron.
