Dr Deane Hutton is one of Australia's best-known science communicators and futurists. For more than 25 years, he has been sharing his enthusiasm for science and technology with others through nation-wide television programs. Also, he has used books, radio and the internet in science communication. His work on television has included 18 years as a writer-presenter of the award-winning Curiosity Show, and 7 years as science presenter on Australia's top variety program Hey Hey It's Saturday. Recently[when?], Deane has presented science reports on the Sunday editions of Seven News in Adelaide as well as having a segment on the popular ABC show The New Inventors. Hutton is also well known for his belief in Christianity, having spoken publicly about his Christian beliefs as well as having produced Christian materials.[1]
