Yukon Territory,Canada . It has been represented in theCanadian House of Commons from 1902 to 1949 and since 1953.The Yukon has not seen the 50% levels of Liberal support common in the other two territories, perhaps on account of a proportionately smaller aboriginal population. Three-way races are the rule, with popular incumbents like
Erik Nielsen and one-time NDP leaderAudrey McLaughlin being returned narrowly but repeatedly. The City of Whitehorse comprises an overwhelmingly large portion of the electorate and thus elections are fought on a comparatively tiny battlefield.Demographics
