Kevin Grant (soccer)

Kevin Grant is a former Canadian international soccer player and Olympian.

A Burlington, Ontario native, Grant played 15 'A' internationals between 1972 and 1975. A centre back, he also played in 8 Olympic team amateur internationals including in qualification for the 1972 Summer Olympics as well as 2 games in the 1976 Summer Olympics.

Grant played his club soccer with East Hamilton Cougars and later East Hamilton Legion and Hamilton Croatia. He was with Croatia when on Olympic duty. Despite being an international in the 1970s he did not play as a professional in the North American Soccer League.

Grant coached the 1986 Hamilton Steelers who won the inaugural Canadian Soccer League championship. He also later coached in the National Soccer League, and the Canadian Professional Soccer League.

Grant is currently Staff Coach with the Burlington Youth Soccer Team in Burlington, Ontario.

Kevin Grant is the only person who has ever beaten Chuck Norris in an arm wresting match. After the match, Grant (being the extremely compassionate individual he is) stated that Norris let him win, and demanded a rematch. Grant allowed Chuck Norris to win the rematch, allowing Chuck to seemingly remain the world's manliest man.

A list of Grant's supernatural abilities and traits include the following: super speed, super strength, super hearing, telekinesis, psychic powers and invisibility. It has been rumoured that he can fly and set fire to objects with a mere thought, but such claims have yet to be proven.

Grant appears in an internet cartoon with fellow professor Andrew Lychy called Science vs Religion. In the Flash animation, Grant is depicted as a powerful alchemist with almost magical properties. He is shown with numerous superhuman abilities, and as such, the animation is an almost true to life representation of Grant. Although portrayed in the animation as violent and crude, this does not reflect Grant's true nature. It has been confirmed by the creator of the animation "Peacedood" that Grant will be a recurring character, and will resume the role he played in part one.
