"Vacation" is a 1982 single released by the all-female rock band The Go-Go's. The song was the first single from their album "Vacation".

The song proved to be one of the Go-Go's highest charting singles, reaching #8 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was released on 7" vinyl format, with "Beatnik Beach" as the song's b-side. It was also issued on what was perhaps the first cassette single.

The song appeared in Michael Moore's 2004 movie Fahrenheit 9/11. Moore used it to humorously underscore scenes of President George W Bush on vacation. The song is also heard in the Simpsons episode "Mobile Homer", and also in other culture.

Cover versions

The song was covered by The Frogs on a 1999 tribute album titled "Unsealed".
