While with Oakland, he connected on a 49 yard field goal versus theArizona Cardinals and handled all punting and placekicking duties during the team's final preseason game against theSeattle Seahawks (avg. 49 yds on 5 punts).He signed a three-year deal with Los Angeles on April 24, 2008, midway through the 2008 season and played in their final 8 games.

Fredrickson signed a free agent contract with the
Seattle Seahawks following the 2004NFL Draft , but was waived during training camp, after kicking onMonday Night Football versus theGreen Bay Packers . A year later, he was in training camp with theDenver Broncos , followed by a stint inNFL Europe with theAmsterdam Admirals . In 2006, Fredrickson resigned with the Broncos, only to be released once again prior to the start of training camp. Six days later he was picked up by theDallas Cowboys and kicked a 49-yard field goal during a preseasonMonday Night Football game versus theNew Orleans Saints before being released. Prior to the start of the 2007 NFL season, he spent time with both theWashington Redskins and theOakland Raiders . Fredrickson has also had tryouts with theBaltimore Ravens ,NY Jets ,Tennessee Titans ,Pittsburgh Steelers , andKansas City Chiefs .College
A dual threat during his collegiate career at the
University of California, Berkeley , Fredrickson served as both the punter and placekicker in 2003 - a feat yet to have been repeated sinceRyan Longwell some seven years prior. He was the Golden Bears’ starting punter for three seasons and doubled as the placekicker as a senior in 2003. Fredrickson punted 198 times for Cal, averaging 39.4 yards per boot. While handling the placekicking duties, he converted on attempts from 51 and 53 yards out, registering the third and fifth-longest field goals in Golden Bear history. Perhaps his most famous kick was the 38-yarder he nailed in triple-overtime to beat then-No. 1 USC on Sept. 27, 2003, which was the Trojans’ only loss within a span of 46 games (USC was on a 11-game winning streak coming in and went on to win its next 34 games after losing at Cal). Also nailed a 34-yarder with 2 seconds left to best Virginia Tech 52-49 during the 2003 Insight Bowl in Phoenix, AzBoasted a 3.44 grade-point average as a Cal film major and received his Master's Degree in Education (Language, Literacy, Society & Culture emphasis) also at Berkeley...
2002 ... uncorked seven punts of 50 yards or better during the campaign and placed a career-high 19 kicks inside the opponents' 20-yard line ... averaged 44.8 yards on four punts at Michigan State, including a career-best 66-yarder against the Spartans ... also averaged 41.9 yards vs. UCLA, including three punts of 50 or more yards and three which landed inside the Bruins' 20-yard line ... turned in a 42.3 average in the Washington game ...
2001 ... a revelation in his first year of full-time duty, finishing in fifth-place tie in the Pac-10 with 39.5 yards per punt average ... exploded out of blocks by averaging 42.2 yards per punt (22 for 929 yards) his first four games ... was brilliant in consecutive game stretch in which he averaged 43.1 yards (8 for 345) with a long of 55 yards at Washington State Sept. 22 and punted at 42.7 clip (7 for 299) with long of 57 yards vs. Washington Sept. 29 ... only averaged under 38 yards per punt twice all season (37.9 vs. Oregon and 37.4 at Rutgers) ...
2000 ... punted in two games in relief of an injured Nick Harris ... had three kicks for a 31.3 average, including a long of 43, in the opener vs. Utah ... also punted once for 23 yards at Arizona State.
