"Ad Majorem Sathanas Gloriam" is an album by the Norwegian black metal band Gorgoroth. The title is Latin for "For The Greater Glory Of Satan". It is a parody of "Ad maiorem Dei gloriam" ("for the greater glory of God"), the motto of the Society of Jesus, conceived by Infernus after having read an article on the counter-reformation and the Jesuits. In November 2007, the album was re-released as a limited edition digipak. This edition had a slightly different cover, and included a bonus DVD with the uncensored music video of the song "Carving a Giant", as well as a "The Making of Carving a Giant" featurette.
