WJMF-LP is a low-power Univision affiliate in Jackson, Mississippi. It is the only Univision affiliate in Mississippi, and the first Spanish-language TV station in general in that state. The station, which currently operates on Channel 53, is owned by Equity Media Holdings. WJMF broadcasts the satellite feed of Equity-owned KUOK, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. WJMF even broadcasts KUOK station identifications and Oklahoma ads.

It was originally announced that WJMF would become a LAT TV affiliate. However, Equity placed LAT TV on co-owned WJXF-LP instead. (That station would later switch to Equity's Retro Jams network.)

On June 25, 2008, Equity disclosed that it was selling KUOK to Luken Communications, LLC.cite news |first=Robert |last=Marich |title=Equity Media Sells RTN to Ease Crunch |url=http://www.broadcastingcable.com/article/CA6573488.html |work=Broadcasting & Cable |date=2008-06-26 |accessdate=2008-06-28 ] How this will impact WJMF is unknown, as Jackson was not mentioned as a market in which stations will be sold.
