Ofir Arkin is an Israeli computer security specialist, best known for his work on system fingerprinting and several types of network vulnerabilities. He is the founder of Sys-Security Group, a computer security research group, a co-founder of Insightix, and an active member and co-author within the Honeynet project.
Ofir's notable work includes his research on a widely publicized Ethernet implementation flaw, dubbed "etherleak",[1] the development of Xprobe2 (an active OS fingerprinting tool), and contributions to "Know Your Enemy" series published by Addison-Wesley.
